HISTORY

Soquel’s Hairy Chair Barbershop was first opened in the late 1800s, post-civil war, by William “Billy The Barber” Kropf. Although not the original building, there has been a barbershop in this exact location ever since through multiple floods and a fire thus making it one of the oldest in California. A true landmark.
